One of the most important and influential figures of 20th century graphic design, Abram Games (1914 - 1996) produced many of Britain's most iconic images of the post-war era. His posters for the Financial Times, Guinness, British Airways, London Transport and Penguin Books reflect his belief in 'maximum meaning, minimum means' - always with striking colour, bold illustration and clever typography. This piece is advertising an exhibition held in the UK in 1990, a celebration of 60 years of Games' work. Wonderfully, Games addressed the poster to another famous British graphic designer, FHK Henrion. It reads "For Henri, in rivalry, admiration and above all friendship for almost 50 years. Abram 1990".

This poster is linen backed.
