Designed by Beattie's Studio in Hobart, The Anglers' Paradise was commissioned by the Tasmanian Government Tourist Bureau. A photolithograph, it depicts a rainbow trout beside a carpenter's ruler to reveal the actual size. This poster is generally catalogued with the date 1933, however commissioning details are unknown. The Tasmanian Government Tourist Bureau actively promoted angling in the 1920s, leading researchers to believe that this poster was printed at that time.

This poster is not linen backed.

The Galerie only deals in original vintage posters. Each poster in this exclusive collection is unique, and will show signs of wear and age. We believe this is important to the posters authenticity and history.
