Marie-Claire Lefort and Marie-Francine Oppeneau met in Paris whilst studying art. They attended the school of the famous poster artist Jean Colin in 1953 before producing their first posters for the Loterie Nationale in 1955. Until 1967 they designed posters for Gitanes, Thermor, Vittel, Kodak and many other famous French brands. Today their posters are very rare and highly collectible.

The Galerie only deals in original vintage posters. As such, each poster is unique and may show signs of age. We think this is part of their authenticity and beauty! However, we are more than happy to provide a condition report.
