The official title of this poster is Loterie Nationale - Louis XVI, but we think it has shades of Bridgerton and informerly call it ‘Bridgerton Pink’.
The text tells us to ‘grab it on the way….the beautiful journeys of fortune…’ Is this why this woman is alighting the carriage? Is this actually Marie Antoinette on her way to meeting her Louis XVI, the future King of France?
