This poster meets the Quadfecta of qualification needs - artist, product, condition and rarity - it is a glorious piece of graphic design history.
Produced by Cappiello in 1930 to announce the joining of Florio with Cinzano, the leading Vermouth companies of the day, he cleverly used the Zebra imagery that he’d always associated with Cinzano to show a pair prancing together.
It was only ever printed in two sizes - small, (often used as point of purchase or within the stores) which is what we have here, or oversize to over two metres to be placed outdoors. You may have seen this revered image reproduced in an assortment of sizes, but we guarantee this is the original, authentic, OG right here.
The Galerie only deals in original vintage posters. As such, each poster is unique and may show signs of age. We think this is part of their authenticity and beauty! However, we are more than happy to provide a condition report.
