In 1971 nine journalists left L’Express and created Le Point, a French news magazine known for its serious political and current event journalism.
Here is an advertising poster featuring Motorcross riders in the Dakar, which was formerly known as the Paris-Dakar Rally, given the French capital was the original starting point of the endurance motor sport event.
