In 1971, nine journalists left L'Express and created Le Point, a French news magazine known for its serious political and current event journalism.
This graphic poster for the Dakar rally (which ran via Algiers in 1983), the multi-categoried vehicle orientation and severe terrain rally. Le Point used the image to advertise both the event and used it as their main news story for that particular week in 1983.
PLEASE NOTE; This poster is currently at the conservation studio and will be available (on linen) the third week of September.
