This poster is in excellent condition, it is not linen-backed.

This fabulous and rare original poster advertising the French newspaper suggests that the public should not be passively accepting news the old-fashioned way ie. the who/what/where only.  They claim that they “…have another concept of the reader, read Le Nouvelles Observateur instead” for a taste of satire, critique and deeper concepts with their news.

Andre Francois created a number of images for the weekly magazine using the newspaper in various ways, here it could be two things…a snail’s shell and a…can you see?
