Frykholm has for 40 years been responsible for creating the image and graphic identity of modernist furniture designer Herman Miller. His iconic 'picnic series' was designed in the 1970s and 80s for the annual company picnic. Several of these are now part of the permanent collection at the Modern Museum of Art.
