In 1971, as a result of the political activities of the co-founding member as a deputy of the Radical Party, nine journalists of L'Express journal, left the magazine and created Le Point. Georges Mathieu was a French painter, best known for his role in the founding of the Lyrical Abstraction technique. His art, and his posters, features curved, calligraphic lines and simple geometrical forms.
