‘She wears the motto, always better’…so Google translate tells us. I’m slightly lost as to what that may mean, especially considering this original mini-poster is almost 100 years old.
BUT what you need to know is this is a superb and rare Art-Deco image by master posterist, Jean Carlu. He along with Charles Loupot, A.M Cassandre and Paul Colin were seen as ‘the gang of four’ who created majority of French advertising between WW1 and WW2.
Original Vintage Poster is conservation backed onto linen.
The Galerie only deals in original vintage posters. As such, each poster is unique and may show signs of age. We think this is part of their authenticity and beauty! However, we are more than happy to provide a condition report.

This is an unframed small format poster.
